Milano, Italy

We quickly fled Nice after the attacks and decided to spend an extra week in Italy and go to Amalfi. On route we wanted to break the long train trip up so stayed two nights in Milan. We caught the fast train to Milan which was a bit novelty – 300kms! We found an amazing air BnB in the centre of Milan by Duomo which was a massive penthouse apartment – a little more space than what we needed but a nice change.

We spent our two days wandering in 35 degree heat and taking in the sites. Duamo and galleria are always a site to see and spend some time at. We also found a cool area in Brera called Corso Como, nice place for a drink. Pizza was on the menu in standard Italian fashion as well as a super cute restaurant we were recommended that was set up like an old Italian home. So delish.
